What Are Acai Berry Scams?

Acai berry scams are literally everywhere these days. Chances are you’ve seen the big banners advertising the acai berry with huge weight loss promises. The magical berry is actually found deep inside the rainforest and has helped the natives there stay in peak physcial condition for thousands of years.

But there’s nothing magical about the berries you see in those ads! They offer you a free trial, as long as you pay shipping.

Sounds good, right? Except not. Every few weeks you’ll get billed for between 50 and 100 dollars because you are now in forced continuity.

And canceling can sometimes be really hard to do. These acai berry scams are everywhere and I’m sure the marketers promoting them are making an absolute killing doing so but at what cost?

Thousands of people are complaining all over the internet and it’s only a matter of time before the government steps in and fines a few people I believe. The FTC already changed up it’s internet advertising guidelines.

So what can you do to avoid these big internet scams?

Well the first thing you can do is to do your homework. Before buying anything online really search for information regarding said product. Make sure you aren’t going to be taken for a ride.

Another thing you can do is make sure the company is registered at the BBB this is something too many people simply don’t do at all.
